ERENKÖYÜ’NDE BAHAR
Cânan aramızda bir adındı,
Şîrin gibi hüsn ü âna unvan,
Bir sahile hem şerefti hem şan,
Çok kerre hayâlimizde cânan
Bir şi’ri hatırlatan kadındı.
Doğmuştu içimde tâ derinden
Yıldızları mâvi bir semânın;
Hazzıyla harâb idim edânın,
Hâlâ mütehayyilim sadânın
Gönlümde kalan akislerinden.
Mevsim iyi, kâinât iyiydi;
Yıldızlar o yanda, biz bu yanda,
Hulyâ gibi hoş geçen zamanda
Sandım ki güzelliğin cihanda
Bir saltanatın güzelliğiydi.
İstanbul’un öyledir bahârı;
Bir aşk oluverdi âşinâlık…
Aylarca hayâl içinde kaldık;
Zannımca Erenköyü’nde artık
Görmez felek öyle bir bahârı.
SPRING IN ERENKOY
Beloved, she had a name among us,
A title of beauty and grace like a poet,
She was an honour and glory to the shore,
Many times she appeared in our dreams,
A woman was reminiscent of a poem.
It was born deep within me,
The stars of a blue sky;
I was a ruin intoxicated with its pleasure,
Still, I imagine the echoes Of her voice remaining in my heart.
The season was good, the universe was good;
Stars on one side, we on the other,
In a time that passed like a delightful dream,
I thought that the beauty in the world
Was the beauty of a kingdom.
Spring in Istanbul is like that; Familiarity turned into love… For months, we remained lost in fantasies;
In my belief, fate will no longer allow
Such a spring to be seen in Erenköy.
SPRING IN ERENKÖY
Canan was a name among us Dec.,
Hüsn ü main title as cute,
It was both an honor and a glory to the beach,
Very kerre canan in our dream
She was the woman who reminded a shi’ri.
He was born deep inside me
The stars of a blue sky;
I was Junked with the pleasure of ed,
I’m still a fiduciary sadanin
From the akis that remain in my heart.
The season was good, the universe was good;
The stars are on this side, we are on this side,
At a pleasant time like Hulya
I thought your beauty was in the world
It was the beauty of a reign.
Istanbul’s spring is like that;
There was a love, familiarity…
We stayed in a dream for months;
I think he’s in Erenkoy now
Felek does not see such a spring.
